Asya was only a baby when she moved from Nikolaev, Ukraine to the United States. Her father had won a green card and received a job there. She admitted to life being different in the United States, as the calendar is different than the one in Ukraine, and there were new holidays and traditions that she had never heard of until then. Despite the many differences of where she is from and where she is now, she is content with her life in the USA. She enjoys ice skating and gymnastics classes, and has many friends and places to see, though she will never not miss her life in Ukraine. Maybe she will live there once again, in the near future.
